Photo Gallery: Hensler Family House Blessing

Over 50 guests, including the Hensler family, their friends and loved ones,  came together Sunday, December 4, to celebrate the contributions of volunteers and donors in partnership with the Hensler Family to bring the dream of homeownership home to Tara and her two daughters, Vega and Erica.

The Olive Street project began this year in April (2016) as a result of a donation of the house to the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Kansas City. Over the last eight months, this two bedroom home, built in 1941, that sat empty for several years and had been vandalized multiple times, was transformed into a blessing and promise of new life for the Henslers.

We couldn’t have made this possible without the tireless effort of our board, volunteers, and donors. On behalf of the Fuller Center for Housing we thank YOU for your commitment to serving God’s people in need and fulfilling the promise of new life in Him!
