Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Kansas City Board President Graham Houston (pictured here photo) will ride his bike 500 miles in one week to raise money and awareness for the cause of affordable housing for families in need of a decent, affordable and safe place to live.
His goal is to raise $5,000 — that’s $10 a mile. How many miles will you sponsor? Donate online at http://tiny.cc/FCHGraham
Here’s Graham’s message:
My goal is to raise $5,000.00
Orville Redenbacher said “The key to success is to do one thing and do it well.” He made popcorn. I ride a bike.
For the 19th time since 1996 I am going to ride my bike 500 miles in a week to raise money and awareness for the cause of affordable housing for low income, struggling families in need of a decent, affordable and safe place to live. I’m closing in on 10,000 total miles and $100,000 raised. I’m starting to get the hang of it, wouldn’t you agree?
The week of July 13-19, 2014 I will join over 100 other enthusiastic cyclists and supporters of this Christian ministry.
As you read this, home ownership is becoming a reality for Luis and Lizbette Rodriguez. After over two years of planning, their home at 4700 NE 46th St Kansas City, MO has risen like a mushroom out of the ground this spring. Their family and friends have joined our Fuller Center for Housing volunteers to raise walls, move dirt, install windows and more.
Please join me in supporting this great cause. Your donation will help ensure the Rodriguez Family moves in on time and gives hope to other families in need of our help. Donate through this page by credit card. Or make your check payable to Fuller Center for Housing with Graham’s Bike Adventure in the memo line and mail it to me at 11030 N Central St, Kansas City, MO 64155.
